#TMC15 Freehand Circle Drawing Championship

I only took one video last week while I attended Twitter Math Camp (#TMC15).  Before you read on…draw your best circle and continue.

In case you didn’t know, Alex Overwijk is the freehand circle drawing champion of the world.  I attended Alex’s session on Vertical Non-Permanent Surfaces (VNPS) and it was my #1TMCthing.  It was an awesome session and Alex did a phenomenal job. At the end of the session he was challenged to a draw-off and graciously accepted.

Here’s the results…you be the judge.

There was a shady exchange between John Berray and Alex immediately following the draw off. The committee has this tape and it’s currently under review.

The graphic designer of this gem was Avery Pickford.

Good laughs had by all.  Thanks Alex for a great session.

  1. John Berray says:

“Shady exchange”? Ha! That’s funny. I’ll admit that I got beat fair and …circle. The legend of Alex O is one we can all appreciate, eh? Fun hanging out with you again, Fletchy.
